Toyota / Lexus customers...your need for higher voltage is here and it's 100% plug and play.  High quality Toyota/Lexus spec OEM 4pin connectors, weather pack sealed and epoxied for off road, daily driving fit duties. No water, no corrosion, no electrical problems! Unplug your OEM harness, connect the Mechman voltage booster harness to vehicle plug and then plug into your OEM or Mechman alternator. DONE!

Why would you need this booster harness?

You're an off-road enthusiast with a winch, on board welder or overlander that is needing to maximize power output for those accessories. A modern AGM type battery or even some specific chemistry Lithium type batteries need to be charged in the 14.5-14.9 voltage range.  Your standard Toyota/Lexus 4pin voltage regulator (the ones we also use) generally are a much lower voltage output around 13.8-14.2 volts.  Being able to charge modern AGM batteries to their optimal charge point will help increase battery life while also giving all of your accessories CLEANER power.

You're a car audio enthusiast with 2,000+ watts of added audio equipment. Most car audio amplifier brands rate their alternators power by the 14.4-volt range. We all know if you can supply higher voltage, you'll get more power from that amplifier! This is also helpful for modern AGM batteries as well.  Charging them to their optimal range important for battery quality and lifespan. While minimal at this voltage boost stage, anytime you can increase your voltage that means your amp DRAW goes down.  Less amps, more power.... it's a WIN/WIN!!

    Quick Example:

Say you have 5,000 watts of amplifier power.  You're currently charging in the high 13's-low 14's voltage.  While being somewhat generic on numbers for this situation, say that amplifier(s) will need around 360-370 amps of output to fully support making that 5,000 watts.   Plug in our booster harness for 14.5-14.9 volts and now you only need around 330-335 amps of output to make the same power. Thats a nice 350-450 wattage bump from a simple plug and play harness!

Vehicle Applications:   (these are just popular fitments, please ensure your current alternator has the 4pin style alternator plug and NOT the oval 3pin. If you do not see your vehicle listed and cannot confirm fitment, please email us BEFORE ordering!
