WARRANTY INFORMATION
Every product we sell is backed by its manufacturer's warranty. Mechman covers the high-output alternators; XS Power covers the batteries, SuperBANKS, and accessories. High-Output Alternators
Mechman® Alternator Warranty
The alternators we sell are built and warrantied by Mechman in Knoxville, TN. Warranty service, RGA numbers, and repairs are handled directly through Mechman.
Every Mechman automotive alternator carries a limited two-year repair warranty from the original purchase date. Within those two years, you can return your alternator to Mechman for repair.
What's Covered
Coverage & Conditions
Covers repairs to the Mechman alternator only. It does not extend to other parts or equipment on the vehicle, and labor for removal or installation is not covered.
Any alterations, physical abuse, misuse, improper installation, or use outside the intended application will void the warranty.
The two-year warranty is non-transferrable and applies only to the original purchaser. A copy of the original invoice is required to receive warranty service.
Getting It Serviced
Warranty Shipping
Customers are responsible for shipping the alternator to the Mechman facility for warranty service. Mechman covers return shipping (within reason) for in-warranty units in the continental 48 United States; outside that area, return shipping is the customer's responsibility.
Return shipping is not covered for in-warranty units that are tested with no problems found.

B-Stock Alternators
Mechman B-stock alternators are factory-refurbished units that may show minor cosmetic imperfections but are fully tested to Mechman's performance and reliability standards. They carry a 90-day warranty and are sold as FINAL SALE. Discounted B-stock pricing is valid on the website only and does not qualify for promos, dealer/distributor pricing, exchanges, or codes. These units are built to spec and are not eligible for modifications such as paint, clocking, pulley changes, harness swapping, or regulator upgrades.
Mechman alternators are built to order. New, unused, standard-issue units in default configuration may be returned within 30 days of purchase, subject to a 10% restocking fee and inspection (unit must arrive in "like new" condition). Custom orders with specific regulator, finish, or pulley modifications are non-returnable.

XS Power® Battery Warranty
XS Power products are warrantied by the manufacturer, with terms that vary by product line. Registration and warranty requests are handled directly through XS Power.
All XS Power products carry a 60-day risk-free guarantee. If you're not satisfied for any reason, return it to the place of purchase (with proof of purchase) for an exchange or full refund.

The Fine Print
Limited Warranty Terms

Provided from the date of purchase to the original purchaser. Covers manufacturing defects in material and workmanship only.

Does not cover damage or failure caused by abuse, misuse, faulty installation, improper maintenance, swelling, or any repairs not carried out by XS Power.

No obligation or liability for consequential or indirect damages, including loss of property or revenue, or costs for removal, installation, or re-installation.

For warranty service, the product must be reported to XS Power to receive a unique RGA (return goods authorization) number; you'll then be advised where to send the product.

Ship all returns pre-paid. If the repair is within warranty terms, the item is returned free on completion. It must be in original packaging with any original accessories. XS Power is not liable for lost or damaged additional items sent with the product.

Provide a copy of the receipt.

If the product is not covered under warranty, XS Power will advise the cost of any necessary repairs, and the unit ships back on receipt of payment including return freight.
