Shop Big 3 wiring upgrade kits. The Big 3 replaces the three factory cables that limit current flow in most vehicles: alternator positive to battery positive, battery negative to chassis, and engine block to chassis ground.

Factory cable is sized for a factory alternator. When you fit a high output unit, those original runs become the bottleneck, and the extra amperage you paid for never reaches the battery. Upgrading them is usually the single highest-value wiring change on a build, and it should be done before chasing other fixes.
