Installation Notes:
This unit comes equipped with a smaller 1.75 inch diameter alternator pulley, and will require a slightly shorter drive belt for proper belt tension. Not recommended for sustained use above 5,000 RPM engine speed.
The 370 amp E series alternator for Ram pickup with Hemi engines is a direct bolt-in replacement for the OEM alternator, and cranks out over 200+ amps at engine idle RPM, with 370+ amps at cruising speed. This unit features hairpin 6 phase technology and 12 huge press fit diodes diodes for excellent durability. NOTE- A slightly shorter than stock length belt may be required for installation.
